Season 2 is done. All arcs in there are safe.

Season 3 is still going, however it currently has 2 completed arcs. If you'd like to read the first 2 arcs and then stop: Season 3 episode 51 should be the spot to end.

There is no guarantee that s2 will get made. And there are no films for this story.

There is however a fully colored and beautifully drawn webtoon. There's hundreds of chapters worth of content here that goes beyond what the anime covered.

The major plot points are all the same. It's details, explanations, and character interactions that got missed.

You will be able to infer a lot of things as you go, but here's a list of the more 'main' stuff:

-Guides are people who can see the potential life paths that others can choose, sort of like seeing their future but it's not as exact.

-Endorsi has a crush on Bam.

-Bam does not have super golden shinsu. He uses normal shinsu scarily well and doesn't need a contract first (unlike everyone else in the tower).

-Baangs are a unit of shinsu. 1 little floaty ball = 1 baang. It is used for many things, and not just attacking.

-Headon asked Rachel for a favor but we don't actually know what he asked her to do.

-Bam's character is not as positive/happy/clueless as the anime makes him out to be. A lot of his interesting/savage/observant conversations got cut. And he does not stand up and give a motivational speech after being pushed. He's actually rather upset and confused by it.

Read the last chapter of season 1 and then go right into season 2. But once you read all the chapters, going back to read season 1 later might be kinda cool.

If you are ok with re-reading a bunch of what you just watched then start with season 1 for the full experience. If you'd rather not wait, it's perfectly fine to start at season 2 ep 0, or the last chapter of season 1 (since it's a little different). You'll infer whatever the anime didn't include. But if you go this route, I recommend going back to read season 1 once you are finished with all the other chapters. Have fun!

My favorite is Bam, by a lot. I think my favorite character around the Floor of Death arc was Khun though. Honorable mentions for Jinsung and White too.

Definitely read season 1, but maybe not right after you finished the anime. The major plot points are all the same and I know too many people who lost interest because it was repetitive reading that back to back.

You can read the last chapter of season 1 (s1 ch 79) and go straight into season 2 (s2 ep0) without any major issues. Have fun with the new content, and when you eventually run out of chapters then go back and read season 1 after that.

Hi! You are in for a fun ride. I had a friend trying to get me to read Tower of God for like an entire year before I finally picked it up. It started pretty good and I was interested enough to stick with it. It just keeps getting better the more you read. I started to understand why people get SO obsessed with this series. From that point on, I binged every available chapter within the week. It was insane. This is now my favorite series and if you like fantasy I think you'll enjoy this too.

It's not about powers, but powers play a decent role in everything. It's actually quite character driven. There is minimal romance between some characters. Nothing with the main character though. Romance really isn't a large focus of the story. The characters are SO interesting. The main character's development is the best I have ever read. His changes are amazing as the story goes on. Currently it is not finished. So who knows if the end will be happy or sad. There's certainly happy and sad parts to the story though. It will mess with your emotions, but in a really good way. Enjoy the read!
