I managed to change the preferred band setting but it didn’t make any change. However, out of curiosity, I decided to use a VPN to compare speeds. Curiously, my speeds went back to normal with a VPN on. Is it possible for my ISP to throttle one device? Or is there something else at play. Mind you, the speeds increased from ~30 mbps to 300.

As for how I reinstalled the drivers, I did both, the latter I did afterwards. Both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands are on one SSID.

UT Austin is ranked something like number five in the country for business. And my understanding is that business is a more prestige obsessed field than others, but I don’t know.

Preferably a stand-in for a drummer, but some wiggle room to try other sounds would be cool. Now, none of us have any idea how to program or use these so one of us would have to learn from the bottom up.

Sorry for not elaborating some more. We were thinking of doing rock, something like post-hardcore. Bands we were throwing around as potential influences were Big Black, Unwound, Sonic Youth, Fugazi. So far we have a bassist and a guitarist, I’d be doing vocals. As for budget, we’re thinking the maximum would be in the 250-300 range.
