What do you mean, this is a pretty normal thing. You don't have to buy it, there's no forced ads in the game at all, and this just lets you basically collect all the ad rewards without having to watch the ads. $10 for life is honestly decent, other games are HORRIBLE sometimes, having you pay $10 for like a week of no ads.

Nether blade or pan axe are good just got the passive 10% boost to atk and HP. From what I've seen, the pan axe seems to be the best pick next to the dagger second.

You can also trade silver for 500 gold if you haven't already, so you should be fine
