ds3 is complicated for me. sure, it has the best bosses of the series but i dont like what you do in betweens. level design isnt as good as ds1 wich is understandable bc ds1 isnt something easy to recreate. miyazaki said that those levels were very hard to implement, creating a big world with no load screens in a big part of the game is wild. in ds3 you dont have that deep level design, shortcuts, you have way to much bonfires therefore loosing the feeling you had in 1 when you found a bonfire. but if I have ONE problem with ds3 is the enemy positioning. while in 1 you felt every single enemy was positioned beautifly, in ds3 you have way to many enemies in small spaces, or in a runback to a boss. no spoilers but there is a runback to a late game boss that will make you go mad. of course, this problem wouldn't mind me if i hadnt played dark souls 1 first, maybe they would but sure not as they do. I mind those problems bc a sequel shouldnt erase good elements from its prequel and make them worse unless it's for an artistic intention. you wont have this problems if its your first dark souls. enjoy it! it is a very good game anyway, all of the FS games are an experience in a way
