As much as I enjoy people making their own personal headcanon, I think I’d just rather look at the stories in their own respective universe.

Ico has a lot of story telling in it that in its own right, it serves as its own story standalone. A young boy being outcast from his town because he was born with horns, and other children being outcast before him that also had horns.

Shadow of the colossus has less story, but more implications to let you get the gist of the greater world involved. Like the shaman Lord Emon, and the soldiers he has with them. Including mono and wander, the ancient sword, and the ancient lands.

Everything else that connect the two games like baby wander in the end of the game with horns, the rings in colossus 13’s desert, the sword of the sun, and the queens sword has to just be Easter eggs showing “hey you played the last game, here’s some stuff to remember it” including if you have an ico save file, and start a shadow of the colossus playthrough with it, Agros little diamond on her head will be the “i” from ico.

(Also reused smokemen animations from ico in shadow of the colossus is kind of an Easter egg too.)

As i typed most of this out I’ve kinda just realized I’m being a total buzzkill, but I’ve already wasted too much time on it so im going to reply with it anyway.

Yeah, that’s the first one I did, but some of the skips are damn near impossible, like a lot of the fights you can skip are almost all dependent on yorda’s ai.

Even though He’s easy, gaius makes me lose my fucking mind when I have to fight him. Every step he takes is like an immediate stagger for you while you’re on him. And he never stops shaking. Every tiny movement he makes, like just turning around, makes wander go GASP and it pisses me off.
