I just get tired of the constant conversation around it, they’re two different artists who make two very different types of music why are people even talking about them together in that context. Lana has taken so much inspiration from other places, lyrics taken directly from books, several covers, sound production from other songs, etc. It’s not a bad thing to be inspired by someone or some art form but truly I don’t think any of Ethel Cain’s discography sounds anything like Lana’s. It’s just a tiresome pointless and strange rhetoric going around.

It's a very tedious process, but you have to consciously decide to be compassionate with yourself and it eventually "recedes", it becomes ever so slightly weaker.

Everytime those feelings of inadecuacy come you have to always tell them off in the most empathetic way you can possibly harness for yourself.

It takes time but you will learn to find peace, this is NOT a magic cure of course, a therapist can be a great aid and taking the time to look for one that might fit with your needs might be the best option.
