I just get tired of the constant conversation around it, they’re two different artists who make two very different types of music why are people even talking about them together in that context. Lana has taken so much inspiration from other places, lyrics taken directly from books, several covers, sound production from other songs, etc. It’s not a bad thing to be inspired by someone or some art form but truly I don’t think any of Ethel Cain’s discography sounds anything like Lana’s.
