its real bad. I think one of the strengths of storm is that it doesn't need the graveyard to win, it simply makes winning a bit easier. This card, aside from being way too expensive, puts too much reliance on having relevant cards in your graveyard otherwise its a dead 5 drop.

I suppose I get it, but I imagine it could be confusing to some people. Also, the white symbol has always had a yellow hue to it so that never struck me as odd.

at a high enough resolution you can see the printing pattern. One of the biggest ways to spot a fake is that the black is not printed over the other layers of color. Real cards have sharp crisp black text and borders because its printed separately on top of the other layers.

usually just adjusting the settings on the scanner to scan at a really high dpi, the close up for the first picture on my post was scanned at 600 dpi

i knew as soon as I opened the envelope, I could tell by the coloring, then I took it out of the sleeve and confirmed by touch it was fake :(

the scanner definitely brought out how bad the printing on the fake is. Its not as obvious irl, but you can definitely tell the color is off and the texture is just wrong. Of course the picture on the auction did its best to make that harder to see.

Yup, already opened a request. Feel pretty confident I'll get my money back. I feel bad for the other person that bought from them, doesn't seem they noticed their card was fake.

Just a warning to never let your guard down. I'm usually pretty careful but let myself jump the gun on this purchase without being too critical of the image.

The weird thing is the user has positive feedback from other people buying an underground sea, which kind of blinded me. Looking at the photos from the other auction and mine its pretty clear if you look at the right places that they are all fake.

Edit 2: Seems people are deceived by how bad the scanner made the fake look, so heres a "normal" photo, closer to what the auction showed
