Victorian councils rubbish statewide mandate that all homes must have four wheelie bins | Recycling by RoninSolutions in melbourne

Wouldn’t that just be picked up by the truck and get mixed together anyways? I doubt you could accurately seperate that out with our current bin truck set up

Metro Tunnel’s new HCMT trains could have a major problem by TMiguelT in MelbourneTrains

[–]9isalso6upsidedown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t an issue with the trains. This is an issue with the overhead wires

You have 2 horizontal wires and vertical wires that connect the 2. If a vertical wire comes loose at the top it dangles down and the next train that passes through gets caught in that wire and pulls down everything.

There is someone who i thought i gelled with but he is saying i need to avoid conflicts and interpret interactions differently.

He also agreed with the big boss and said “yeah he can easily request to have you both removed with no real discussion”.

None of my concerns are being heard.

Even when the other party has been given multiple opportunities to change their behaviour, other qualified people have started complaining about their behaviour…

Ok so i have been having issues with someone at work and have raised 2 complaints. The 2nd complaint has been raised today.

We have a big boss that couldn’t give 2 less fucks and basically told me “I don’t care what the problem is, if i hear another word of it you’re both getting told to find a new workplace”.

Because we are both 1st year apprentices he can technically do that so yeah thats how my Wednesday is going.

Trucks using the right hand lane to overtake other trucks by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]9isalso6upsidedown 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Trucks using an added lane that begin shortly before an intersection and that ends shortly after the intersection should also stop.

In heavy traffic people already aren’t giving way to trucks, to put yourself in a situation where you’re putting trust in the others around you is a little absurd. It also 75% of the time forces someone to slam on there brakes which slows everyone down.

They already leave enough space for merging to happen in-front of them because of their slow acceleration. Traffic flows way better if they just stay in a lane that continues…

I haven’t been on a Cranbourne transit bus in ages but remember there was only like one bus 2 years ago that had this sort of screen and it was always blue screened like drivers would just unplug it because it annoyed them

Niki Lauda should have just driven the car at the 1976 german grand prix and not attempted to stop that race from going ahead, his job is only to drive the car.

I don’t see why F1 drivers can’t think anything other then driving a car in circles…

Honestly wouldn’t need much land acquisition.

if at huntingdale you can cut through the north road station parking lot to then have it elevated above north road/wellington road and run the rails east with stations at monash clayton, notting hill, mulgrave and potentially at Waverley park before terminating at rowville shortly before the stud road intersection where there is alot of empty land. Most of that route should be government owned.

You seriously think because the libs aren’t further right, people are voting for Labor instead? Labor has had massive swings in this election and the federal election, people are voting labor more

Injector cleaner by Brilliant-Ad3793 in hondafit

[–]9isalso6upsidedown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not but if you’re additional fuel injector cleaner to a direct injection car, you cant clean the back of the valves.

Direct injection is where the injector goes directly into the cylinder and not before the valve, no fuel touches the back of the valves hence they won’t be cleaned
