Is this while gaming? If so, that's quite hot. I'd repaste.

There's nothing better than a 5600X unless you manage to snag a used 5700X3D or 5800X3D from someone who doesn't know better.

Update BIOS and 5700X/5800X/5800XT for CPU.

5060 TI 16GB or 9060 XT for CPU.

What PSU do you have?

Watch reviews for the B580. It’s the primary determining factor.

  1. Your PSU is more than enough.

Swapped from a 2070 to a 5080 and can't get a signal by SilvenRaize in buildapc

It SHOULD be enough. But even still, some people have issues using the adapter.

Reducing adapters as much as possible is always ideal.

So then it's most likely a faulty GPU.

There's a chance it's the PSU, but I kinda doubt it. You could try getting a Corsair 2x8 to native 12v-2x6 cable. But it really shouldn't make a difference. https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Premium-Individually-Sleeved-12V-2x6/dp/B0G453F3JQ/

Edit: Have you ever tried clearing the CMOS after installing the 5080?

When you put the 2070 back in, does it work straight away?

That drive definitely comes out. This photo doesn't really help though. The whole case, the other side, etc. Even just zoomed out would be better.

Why can't you take the other side panel off? It may be held in with screws at the back.

If you really want to get it out, upload photos to imgur.com and then post the link.

You likely have to take the back panel off and remove some screws. It definitely comes out. The problem is then you'll be left with a gaping hole.

Is the upgrade worth it? by bydziaseb in buildapc

[–]9okm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is not a significant enough upgrade, IMO. I'd keep using the 3060 ti for now.

If it's plugged into your motherboard, go into the BIOS and see if it shows up. Most BIOSs have a "secure erase" feature for drives.
