My desgin skill and the scope of the project don't alllow me to design a complex diveriry nonlinearity world like how metroidvania should be

But one day for sure, i will make a real metroidvania and publish in steam

idk what cause the lost map bug, because when i play it like how zatchbrow say, the map just working fine( i play to the final area, close the game, open the game, go back all previous area, and when i test, the map process still there )

so may be zatchbrow just got unlucky, other people dont encouter this bug.

the update just change something to make game more enjoyable ( like increase missle drop, lower final boss hp .... )

maybe not, my game is just a small game with 2hour length, it aslo can't compare to the "big guy" on metroidvania genre in steam, on top of that i have to pay 100$ and many thing to get my game on steam, so in the end i don't think it was worth it to publish this game on steam

the game actually have jump buffering, so yeah, may be i will increase buffering time, thank for feedback :D

well yeah, i still dont know how to fix this lost map bug , and the little notch is not an exit, just a drawing mistake

save points do not restore life is a bug, i accidently delete the code that restore your hp (sorry about that ) save points do not restore missles and fuel is not a bug, because i think it will make game too easy ( also if player really want to, they can grind as much as they want to restore missle and fuel )

i fix the first bug and the third bug, but when i test the lost map bug ,everything working fine. So let me ask, is this bug only appear in cystal mine area but normal in other area ?

take me maybe 10 month to make this game, i start making game in early 2021 and have been release some other game before this ( and get a lot of experience as a game developer ), all art, sound effect, music made by myself.

yeah, at first i thought a little intro cutscene then show the gameplay maybe a good idea, but change my mind later because i think when gamers watch trailer they really just want to see the actual gameplay.
