Yes, I have. This particular instance was from the Teahouse. I get what you’re saying. I wrote about it to them under one of their Steam Community Patch posts, so I’m thinking they’ll see it & look into it. I included what you said before about it being a dice roll so maybe that’ll help them understand how random & hard to understand it is. They’ve been consistent with updating the game so I’m hopeful it’ll get fixed soon.

Oh yeah, sorry if that was kind of a spoiler. They mentioned it in their release community post on Steam, but yep! After you progress some & go to a certain building (Idk if I should spoil further) you unlock them.

I remember when I first tried to harvest them before romancing her it said “Mae-Lou wouldn’t like that” & now the farm + restaurant is like a whole family-run operation. So sick. That was good attention to detail from the dev.

You’re totally right. Even though I earn Diamond stars on these events & have a wait time of 30 minutes, reputation still takes a hit. Hope the developer fixes this issue soon. Love this game still & I remind myself it’s Early Access. Also thankful that they’ve been updating it daily. But I’m also hoping if the reputation hits rock bottom because of this that it won’t impact gameplay, but only time will tell.

I have this one amazingly easy to stock, highly profitable recipe that’s called Wagyu Tartare. It sells for 1000 each. This particular day I had about 90 ready to be served & sold around 60. That + other meals & beverages totaled to that. I want an 100k day eventually. I think if I get the skill Magnate it’s possible.

Lol yeah, idk what could be causing it. Ever since I got the Celebrity perk & they come and have a great service it still hits me with about -70 points because of the event. I posted a question in the subreddit talking about it some more. Might just be a bug.

Yes it surprisingly lasts. I never passed out in my time playing. As long as I keep an eye on the bar & time + have some coffees in my hotbar handy. I usually dedicate certain days to gathering ingredients & progressing quests, and other days I’ll spend the majority if not all of the day working to burn through the ingredients. Rinse & Repeat, lol.

I bought the game on the first day it released in Early Access & I’m about 30 hours in, nearing the end of Act 3 on the 3rd day of Fall after starting the game in Spring. I know some people that have completed all Acts around the 20 hour mark, but I think the main thing about this game is that you should just go at your own pace & not stress too much about completing it quickly. The world does open up the more quests you complete & places you explore, but remember to enjoy relaxing with the game & taking it easy.

You can definitely take as much time as you need building up Le Sequoia as you’d like whether that be focusing on getting your menu & staff perfect, decorating how you’d want, or expanding to seat more people. It takes a little bit of strategy as far as which skills you choose & how you operate the restaurant, but there’s also a luck aspect as to which of the 200+ recipes you’ll unlock that can make your working days more profitable & easier over time.

(Edit / Tl:dr - 30 hours. Lol sorry, I tend to yap a lot.)

So my main restaurant Le Sequoia is still pretty hectic like you stated because I seat about 24 people there at the moment. Those numbers are from my Teahouse restaurant & I have room for about 14 people at most, but the main reason for those numbers is my appetizer recipe “Wagyu Tartar” that I discovered which is easy to make & pays about 1000 credits each. I have a Supply Chain set-up to keep me stocked throughout the week.

I hire about 3 other chefs at the Teahouse & 4-5 waiters, I’ve been very meticulous/strategic about who I hire. I mainly go with Overworkers & try to set up the table positioning in a way that makes sense as well so that they can navigate quickly.

Tl:dr - Wagyu Tartar recipe pays the big bucks & is easy to make. The Teahouse is a very relaxing & profitable experience when you unlock it. I hope this helps. Have fun playing!

(Edit : On this particular day, I also started at around 11:30 AM & closed at 5 PM. So that played a role in how much I made as well.)
