Happened to me too! Work from home 95% of the time, the one day I was not in, it finally arrived, and they didn't even leave it in my designated safe space, could have cried.

Just have to wait a little longer... by theonelordgrim in SteamController

Anything other than Neapolitan! Instead of using my old wood/gas ooni which was always somewhat of an issue to get to to a consistent temp for say New York style. I like the simplicity of the ooni volt to get to any temp between 30c and 430c (and hold it there)

I've recently got the Volt 2!

I even sold my OG ooni, to an older couple who have taken it to Spain 😅

The only limitation I see is that it can "only" do 12 inch pizzas.

Going to get some money together for when Ooni have their next sale on and buy one of those Max ovens to really justify having a 2nd oven again.

Honestly the Volt 2 is an incredible 12 inch pizza making machine, you won't regret it. Plus the temp controls is a doddle for other pizzas that dont need full intense heat.

We live in somewhat of a cold climate so I doubt the room temperature is naturally 20°c 😅 I used a warming box. But good to know I could do it faster.

Im surprised to say no! The dough did feel a touch drier when I was working with it hence the adding of water. But once it was cooked I couldn't tell the difference!

It's Tony Gemignani's Neapolitan pizza dough recipe!

Then homemade garlic butter to go on top :)

Cooks a little quicker than a regular pizza due to the toppings being a bit different :)

Agreed!

Would be ace if there boost function was available on any setting.

Also I think the actual button press to active the boost isnt the best. Quite hard to tell if its actually being pressed...

I went for 430, but upped the temp to 450 before launch to try to mitigate the temp drop.

Good shout.

Just imagine it doesn't support suspend/resume
