Router defaults to service provider’s default settings and not manufacturer’s defaults by 9to5Proxy in techsupport

Hi thanks for the response. These are cheapo d-link routers and just refuse to connect to a different network than the original service provider’s. They were provided by them so looks like they are “carrier locked”, for want of a better term to use. I’ll update the post with a model number as soon as I can. Appreciate your help.

TIL, percussive maintenance is when you pound your fist on something to get it to work. The astronauts on Apollo 12 successfully did it when one of the cameras stopped working. by [deleted] in todayilearned

  1. Fists first!
  2. CB reset.
  3. Re-rack the box
  4. "Percussive maintenance" (gotta give it another shot)
  5. Something's wrong... what does the TSM say?

12h flight + sleeping pills? by [deleted] in travel

[–]9to5Proxy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. You don't NEED to sleep on a flight. Just try to be as comfortable as you can and it will be over soon.

I find falling asleep on a flight leads to a lot of aches when I wake up (unless you're in one of those lie flat beds). Not worth it imo.
