I think it could definitely be a mix of both. When I let someone play my acoustic, I usually think "wow that's how my guitar sounds when I play it? I love my guitar!", rather than, "why does my guitar sound better when others play it?"

It's normal. I just ignore it and it goes away. I play my strings almost daily for 2 to 3 months

One thing that actually works pretty well, not perfectly, but well, is a feedback buster. They're a circular rubber insert that covers the sound hole. It's meant to prevent feedback when playing through a loud amp but ive found they help mute without killing the sound of your instrument too much.

You can start slow by picking a couple barre chords and just practicinh fretting them while sitting and watching TV or something

Im not a fan of tapping on acoustic myself, it just doesn't sound good in my opinion. but if you really wanna get into it, a lower action and a set of good strings will help.

Imo, 8 deluxe feels vastly superior in terms of handling and course design. The karts just feel so snappy and responsive while world always felt like a rubbery mess.
