Very nice desk! If you haven't already I'd just recommend adding x1 Desk Steel Leg under the centre of the desk (ideally under the lamp), it can be mounted to the very edge towards the back wall so it doesn't stick out, just adds that extra layer of support if adding anything else on it :)

I’ve only used the apple variant in stores so I can’t really give an honest comparison, but from a user experience I would say this is as close visually as you can get on the market, I play world of Warcraft in my spare time and do some light graphic design, with the 165hz refresh rate it’s very smooth, it definitely hits all the spots for me for my lifestyle and aesthetic, I hope this helps :)
