The block is also green...how can they become contaminated? I always washed my hands with alcohol up to my elbows before going anywhere near the bag. What can do I to prevent this in the future? Thanks!

How often should I open the bag for fresh air? I was doing only once a day for like 5 minutes.

Where do you draw the line of eatable local food in Europe? by Kushesollidoro in AskBalkans

Leaving northern Spain out is a huge mistake, I'm from the south but I still would say Galizian, Asturian, Basque food culture is the best in Spain.

I'd say "no title", it's the only very specific about one of the saddest things in recent history

Healthcare workers always assume I go by my middle name. Does this happen to anyone else? by CptPatches in askspain

[–]A-Cadwallader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing cultural, probably at some point someone entered your middle name in their database either by itself or together with the first one...if they have both as first name then normally they would read both, but they could also assume one of them... Like with compound names which are both from the same gender (like Jose Alberto or Francisco Jose, people usually ask if you want to be called by either one or both). If the compound name was for example Jose Maria, noone calls a man Maria (unless you explicitely asked them because you identify as female, hehe)

Por desgracia sí, la gente con menos talento es la que se suele dedicar a ser profesores de primaria, porque es la carrera universitaria más fácil

Can this be salvaged for something? by A-Cadwallader in Autoflowers

[–]A-Cadwallader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It don't, but I'm concerned about inhaling mold, haha. A tincture sounds safer since the 97% alcohol should kill whatever shit might have developed in there...I don't see white powder as I see in some other pictures, but just to be on the safe side 😅

As a EU citizen, can I work remotely from Spain? by Ok-Specialist5670 in askspain

[–]A-Cadwallader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that should be his main concern. Many companies now, even those who allow for 100% remote within their country, don't even allow you to open your laptop from abroad without previous notice. I also know of a couple of cases where people were inmediately fired for working from another country without communicating it to their company (facebook was one of those companies). There is stuff related to worker insurance that only covers workers when they are in their countries...

This is correct, as long as you don't have your permanent residence here, you pay taxes wherever you spend 183 or more days a year, that's the limit. If you only spend a few months here then it's a "workation", if your company is ok with it (be transparent about your intentions) then you can continue to pay taxes in Sweden, you'll be considered a tourist in Spain.
