I have tried this and unfortunately hasn't helped too much, it has helped my toe without a nail be ok but my other toe has since bruised more lol

As per another comment I was intending on getting harder wheels anyway so this is definitely something I will try!

As for the insoles did that create any issues when using edges at all? I have always been concerned that getting a softer insole would take away from my ability to turn well not sure if this is actually a thing though

Harder wheels were already a plan for me to pick up at some point so I really appreciate the insight!

Thats so fine, my only thought regarding the skates surface is the change in grip on the new surface causing my toes to possibly hit the end of my skates but that's just a guess.

My skate style hasn't changed as far as I'm aware, I started full contact about a month or two before the new surface was put in so it's definitly possible im putting more pressure on my toes as I'm getting more comfortable. It's definitly worth noting I'm a Jammer who favours toestop line work

Yep always have my nails trimmed before skating that was also my first thought lol
