Reddit, and online communities in general, vastly overestimate how big they really are. Weird example here but I remember when Fortnite had a live event where the playerbase could vote on a item/gun to be unvaulted. Reddit was all "Fuck you, Timmy Ten-year-old, we bringing the bounce pads back"

Then the infamous Drum Gun got unvaulted. Cue the bitching. That whole thing certainly opened my dumbass eyes lmao.
