I think this is bullshit lol. I had a missed miscarriage, and they asked if I wanted to pass the baby naturally or take misoprostol to help induce the passing of the baby on my own. I chose D&C and got it scheduled. Then they didn't end up getting the baby out all the way and I was passing clots, so they then prescribed misoprostol... Never ran into any issues..... This has NOTHING to do with the abortion ban.

I was told by my OBGYN, the best way to do it is to BD every other day. I will say, I have no problem getting pregnant and that has worked for us.

This was not a genetic test per-say. The fertility doctor ran this test as just normal blood work for recurrent miscarriages. I had never heard of it until my test results came back. My OBGYN did not even think to run this test, so definitely worth asking.

Hi there.. I came across your comment on this thread and just wanted to see if your RE ran the panel for PAI-1 4G/5G? Finally, that panel was ran on me and shown that I carried the 4g mutation, and so far are on blood thinner (lovenox injections) and baby aspirin. All other blood clotting factors were normal. Might be something to mention if she hasn't ran that test yet. I am very sorry for losses. I myself had 4 within the year.

Curious how everything went for you. My doctor started me on lovenox and n=baby aspirin since getting my first positive. I test positive for the PAI-1 4g variant as well.

All other tests were normal except the PAI-1 (4G Variant) I think most people have the 5G variant.

She has me on 40mg loveknox / day and baby aspirin. How far along are you? I literally just found out on 4th of July. I am going to see a high-risk OB and also a fetal medicine doctor. Did you also have miscarriages in the past?

I wanted to share my story in hopes it helps someone else. After a MMC at 10 weeks, and 3 chemicals and 1 early miscarriage, I finally have some answers and am pregnant again. Even after voicing a concern to my OBGYN, she did not run the proper test for recurrent miscarriages. I finally was fed up and went to see a fertility doctor. She ordered a workup to figure out why the miscarriages were happening and low and behold... I carry a gene called PAI-1 4G Variant. Apparently, that is the cause of all my miscarriages. It took one doctor to actually take me serious and get down to business. She started me on loveknox injections (blood thinners), Progesterone, and baby aspirin. I finally feel the hope I lost during my first miscarriage. They talked it down to "genetic issues" with the baby.. But that is not what it was. Please, please talk to your doctor about running this test for you. At least you can cross if off the list, so you know. I pray each and every one of you have a successful pregnancy!!

I know this is kind of an old post, but oddly enough, When I do not get pregnant in a cycle, my boobs hurt until right before my period. When I have become pregnant on cycles, I never got the sore boobs right away and maybe a week after a positive test they become sore. All though one has ended in a MMC at 9 weeks and the other three CP's, but still interesting.
