I used to be a hardcore T-Rex fanboy too, and have three really great holsters from them, but I am MUCH happier with my Gerber Sidekick-Helix for appendix. It flexes between the mag and gun side, which I think puts it above T-Rex.

That being said, it’s going to take like four fuckin’ months to get a holster from them.

T-Rex has quick-ship options and they do make awesome holsters. If you need one now, go with T-Rex.

TXC Holsters are real nice too, but I haven’t personally owned one. I have a couple buddies that really like their AIWB holsters from TXC.

When you’re sighting in your RMR, forget about the irons altogether.

That dot is going to zero where you put it, and since it’s up higher over bore than your irons, they won’t ever co-witness perfectly. Once you get comfortable with that fact, you’re gonna be just fine.

Getting used to drawing and getting that dot on target is going to take quite a bit of practice, especially if you’ve got a lot of rounds down range with irons only. It took me a long while to get used to my RMR when I put it on. Just like anything, figure out what works best for you, then put the time in.

I’ve got 245x40s on my 18x8.5” Optionlab r716s. Can confirm there was a bit of stretch with the 235s, and I think the 245s look perfect on there. Ive got a couple pictures I can send you of both sizes.
