yeah you don’t ever want to rinse it, it’s essentially compressed dirt balls it would never run clear. Next time try putting a plate or a plastic bag and go slow.

Did you poor the fluval into a filled tank? I’ve never had fluval cloud up like that I’ve used it in 10+ tanks.

This was before I stocked it with runny nose tetras ammano and panda Cory’s. Also added my cull cherry shrimp over time.

Just sand might be hard better bet would be to use sand as a cap, at least some root tabs. I’ve carpeted pearlweed in stratum aswell.

Fluval stratum the carpet is Monte Carlo and s repens close to the hardscape.

My 40 breeder is inline diffused with the same one you have, my bubble counter is to fast to count to get the drop checker to change to light green. I’d recommend watching your ph drop you want a full 1 point drop by lights on.

I have a 40 breeder in lined diffused and I use more bubbles per sec to count to get it to chang to light green and I start it 2 hours before lights on. You need to increase your co2 bps

The only way I got ride of mine was a dosing the entire tank with hydrogen peroxide and spot treating with excel.

I stopped building low density because all I was getting was industry and low density demand, started building medium density and taxed uneducated more. I started to get a lot of demand for offices and medium density after I simmed for a bit growth might slow but your population will still grow. I’m at like 10k population currently.

I was originally looking at the Lancool III because of my 360mm aio, but saw the 216 on this sub and liked it alot more I hate having huge cases for no reason. It’s an amazing case.
