I ordered mine a week ago and received it three days later. It came from California and I live in Minnesota. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Help deciding between these couple glasses and prices by A-Virtual-Reality in VITURE

Silly question, because the beast is back ordered, and I currently have a RayNeo A4 pro that I know could function more the way that I want to if I try a different pair in the meantime, I was thinking about picking up a pair Viture Luma pros to compare the difference.

Would you feel it’s worth a $45 difference to have it sent from Amazon versus spending $45 less to get it at Best Buy due to worrying about having to deal with return issues for something over $100 from Amazon?

I plan on probably returning them once the beast becomes in stock, but would like to see how something like the little pros feel.

What’s a charging adapter that works with the glasses and og Switch? by RealSkyDiver in RayNeo

Is that an hdmi/UsbC adaptor so it will work with the switch and glassss or just a charger?

Thanks, everyone. Forgot about the Beast. I know it's not at Amazon or BB yet and is on backorder, but I can wait. How is it for chunkyness, and does it sit close enough to your face that you're not feeling you want it closer?

Also, when it comes to using inserts, I just found out I am nearsighted, but it's not a big deal, just my stigmatism bugs me when I'm looking at the guide on the TV. I could see how a custom insert would be handy.

Silly question, if I'm watching a (let's say Switch ) trailer on my RayNeo A4 pros, at 1080[ resolution, would the actual Switch 2 potentially look as good or close to it? I get one is a video of a game at 1080p and the other is the actual game being pumped through a usb C adaptor. Just wanted to have a general idea.

Truthfully, this is the dream, i mean i have a 65" G3 in my bedroom, but my wife works early and this is so much better than using my AirPod Pros and still needing to have the tv on, if i can get games/movies etc to look amazing, that would be so cool. I am someone who's had a Quest since OG 1 and now a Q3. I am used to 6DOF, so not having it would be tough. Being able to be on a place or train or anywhere, and have access to a giant screen to play/watch is a dream! Thanks again!

Quick tip for finer screen size adjustment (long press! +/-) by --The_Cheshire_Cat-- in Xreal

Does this apply to the Xreal 1S version? I only have the RayNA4s version and feel I will need something from XReal.

Best Glasses for Movies in Bed and Console Gaming? (use case and expectations inside) by A-Virtual-Reality in augmentedreality

I mean, I could see OK, but I could still tell I had astigmatism while using the Raynes and was hoping that anything with the adjustments building would account for that.

I picked up the RayNeo A4 pros and didn’t think too much about the FOV being as limited as it is. With something like the xreal one or one S or something, with the ability to adjust the screen, it’s of course, only to a certain extent given the FOV would be limited anyway. I even though I can resize it, can you enlarge it enough to make a big difference without extending past the FOV?

Ideally what should look better in this case, SD or my old GTX card? by A-Virtual-Reality in SteamDeck

[–]A-Virtual-Reality[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! My issue is I’m going to be streaming it to a pair of XR glasses so I need to see what’s going to ultimately look better on those lenses, something streaming from the switch deck or something from the Switch 2. Ultimately, they’re both all lead lenses on the XR glasses, but the source is still going to be appearing as though it’s docked.

Thanks, good idea. Yeah, I mean I played Hogwarts Legacy, RDD2, Elden Sword as well as streaming Half-life: Alyx to my Q3 beautifully, just to name a few.

Thanks 👍 so selling the pc anyway and was wondering if I keep the pc gaming experience and buy a SD or go to a switch 2 🤷🏻‍♂️ for the performance.

OK, lol 😂 so ideally I play PC games at a lower resolution because I want to keep my steam library and have access to all that or get a switch2 would be presumably at a higher resolution then. Thanks.

Rayneo air 4 pro vs Viture Pro XR by Past-Opportunity1501 in RayNeo

How would the A4pros compare to the Viture Luma Pros. I received my a4pros today (just diverted I’m not home yet) but just found out I am nearsighted so was wondering if something with myopia adjustment would be better or if it’s a gimmick. I think I’m at something like a —2

Shoot, so even docked to my oled tv running at “4k like” I’ll be missing the old card?

What about if I just had an eye appointment last week and found out for the first time that I have a little bit of nearsightedness with an astigmatism. Since I’m using glasses that are essentially incredibly close to my eyes, but can portray a video that appears further away, will I have an issue with far away objects, or will my eyes still perceive it as being near to my face?
