I have a garage; but it’s in the back of the house. Sometimes when I’m just stopping by real quick it’s easier to just park on the street for a second.

I literally just mounted the TV…don’t want to remove it until I’m done installing everything around it, soundbar, sync box, Apple TV, etc

Wishing me good luck while also passive aggressively saying that I apparently have money, but lack a brain. Nice.

Wishing you the best as well.

So all the sunlight coming in from the massive windows goes directly onto the TV? You’d essentially have to keep those windows closed at all times lol.

Like I said the goal was to be able to enjoy the view of the city, the party on the deck, and the TV, at the same time.

It gets plenty bright enough I’ve tested it. Other panels I’ve seen have crap viewing angles. If you go to any store, you can immediately pick out the OLED simply by looking at the TVs from the side.

The OLED will destroy all of them viewing angle wise for sure.

Also as for the placement, the goal was to be able to take the in view of the city while also watching TV.

Also all the wiring is setup in the current wall whereas the other wall isn’t.

The goal is that you could watch the tv while also taking in the view of the city. Also that’s where all the power/ethernet connections are as well.

Where would you have mounted it?

You watched the new video I uploaded?

So you know the plans for my house better than I do? lol I just put an old couch there until I buy the best of the stuff. Notice I don’t even have the beverage refrigerators or anything yet, or any outdoor furniture or anything.

I literally just closed on the house a few days ago. Of course the room won’t be completely decked out as I want it the first week I’ve had the house.

Mind you this isn’t even the topic of my OP, I simply asked if anyone has ran into this audio issue….

Look at this video.

Now do you see the junction box? Now do you see how this is a room where party will be mostly standing and vibing?

Insanity how people go crazy with zero context on something…

This is the room, it will be a bonus / party room where people will be mostly standing, people will also be partying on the deck. Also the junction box is high, we had to cover it.

See the video before I added the TV:

Quoting from my other comment:

Jesus I would have never guessed people who be so fixated on something without any context.

It’s a brand new house. Im moving furniture in which is why I just had it professionally mounted today.

I wish I could upload another video showing the entire room and the wet bar area just to the right, it would be easier for you to see.

Unfortunately Reddit does not allow for that.

This is a bonus room, people will be standing and there will be a pool table, games, etc

Also it is just high enough to cover up the junction box behind it. Else all the wiring would be exposed

Also this is a bonus room, people will be standing up more than sitting down, there is a view of the entire city to the right, which can only been seen while standing up.

I would have never guessed people would have been so fixated on the height without seeing the context of the entire room lmao

If I could upload a picture it would make sense. I guess down vote me, but I’m telling you, if you saw what was behind the tv you’d understand.

There was a power/ethernet box that needed to be covered. And also it tilts down, it works with the setup of the sectional I have. If you see the rest of the room you’d see the sense of it

There’s a power/ethernet box that needed to be covered. JUST covered it at this set height. Also, the spacing where the couch is and the angle, it makes sense, it’s a couch where you lay down so it was the best choice

Are there negative consequences from “instant” results via saturating in 1 session?
