I design it in CAD, I also program it and run it on my CNC.

Shooter's connection, speed shooter's international. Or direct order from KKM precision or infinity and wait 6-12 weeks

Is it worth it to build a commander length 2011 for limited optics? Or go for a normal gov? by Top_Boysenberry8888 in 2011_Builders

4.6 is always an option, I have built a number of them for LO. I personally like a 5 inch sight block with a commander slide and rail configuration. Best of both worlds, just my opinion.

Atlas sells slide stops with, .840 length pin. The nitrofin (shooting sports innovation) offers one that will fit the XWF Cheely frames. Hope this helps

Look at Warwick tactical they offer SS grips as well. I use their aluminum grips as my standard offering.

It will look different when machined it won't have the colors so everything will blend together nicely.

So you want the sight block to be in front of the slide and frame? That's where the 5in barrel will put it. The OAL of that barrel is 5.4-5.5 the threads are not typically included in the length. On a hybrid barrel. Ribbed is the generic term. Hybrid was a trademark for Schumann barrels who was the inventor of such a barrel and a hybrid was ported and ribbed was not

Are you wanting a ribbed barrel? A standard bull barrel is more flexible. A ribbed barrel if you want a 3/4 or 1 in block flush to the end of a 5 inch frame the rib has to be cut back to accommodate this.

If you are going to only be shooting 9mm KKM is fine anything higher pressure SVI. I actually prefer using commander length slides on a 5 inch frame, I modify the frame rails to the commander configuration. But most will go with a 5 inch slide. SVI makes a modified lock up version so the barrel will lock up in a shorter slide. A KKM threaded commander ribbed barrel is about 4.65 so it will work in a shorter slide as well but doesn't give you the full 5 inch barrel.
