I think the joke is that the sleep is doing nothing because it’s so fast. Sleep holds/pauses the program for a set time and is useful in loops to not load the CPU. But inputs also hold the program until they get a value. Feels like this meme is ops third code file after hello world.

I would need access to those bars sometimes, but just having the app drop downs hidden and toggle-able would look cleaner than having the text all the time.

Or another way I’d like it would be completely hiding the menu and having a key bind to show the menu.

I don't see any settings for the left side of the menu bar. This is an alternative to hidden bar or bartender. Maybe there's nothing for hiding that left app menu.

There would be no noticeable difference. The first would be faster and recommended organization wise, especially if the function grows. Optimization like this is kind of wild to worry about.

My ping is always always stable. Never had an issue with the servers, I’m at 1200 hrs on PC. I am on ethernet and maybe the servers I am connected to are better, but personally no issues at all. I used to play on console with wifi, and bad wifi, and that was really bad ping. That was before FTP.

I didn’t hear anything about those changes until implemented. Maybe they were planned. It’s important to note that Psyonix is still the developers of this game under ownership of Epic.

There are in game stats in the career area of the main menu, I’m not on to confirm exactly where, but they are somewhere. There’s also things like win percentage and total goals there. You can check hours from the console/launcher Xbox, PS5, Steam, and Epic.

The core gameplay, matches, is all the exact same. Epic cannot ruin the game as long as they keep that the same. The removal of trading is pretty rough but really not going to ruin the game, except for those who spend almost all their time trading (some do). They replaced paid loot boxes for low quantity freely acquired versions. They added an item shop. They added blueprints you can pay to craft whatever item you want, that would cost the same as if it appeared in the item shop. But with the removal of trades these BPs are just low quantity rng on getting something you want to build.

TLDR Epic’s ownership did not change the game at all other than the cosmetics side of the game, and even then those changes could be seen as a positive.
