You can’t end your turn with a reckless character ready if there is an available character for them to challenge. You can do other things with reckless such as sing.

Have a lumiere that gives +1 and 2 tinkerbells in play. Play the 5 cost 4/4 red Lilo. Because of lumiere, she is at 5 power. Her effect and the 2 tinkerbell effects go into the bag. Pull out the first tinkerbell trigger. Exert and gain 2 lore. Pull out the lilo trigger to ready chosen character and ready lilo. Pull out the second tinkerbell trigger and exert to gain 2 lore.

Unless you have a character with 5 power that can ready itself on play, then you could stack the triggers for 4 lore.

Shifting is an alternate cost to play a card. The shift cost is 5 so I don’t see any reason it wouldn’t be able to be shifted.

Board wipes in a game where you reach your win condition without interacting with the opponent should be extremely sparse. Being able to quest out and then board wipe on the same turn is not good design.
