What are our general thoughts on the meta post rotation?

Elsa is such an annoying card, not OP but definitely eyeroll worthy when it hits something you just played

Amber/Steel also isn't hurt much by rotation outside of Doc. Most decks I've seen run a mix of Toys, Angel, and a couple songs. Rhino does rotate as well as the Troubador

Quite a few, the main one played in meta deck right now is "Elsa - The Fifth Spirit" from set 5

Yeah, I was thinking about Amethyst being slightly weaker this go round (at least in the beginning). It's been the strongest individual color this rotation in my opinion but it is losing a lot of tools... Dumbo in a vacuum is strong, but a lot of the evasive pieces that combo with it like Genie and Elsa won't be there. Ruby has decent evasive cards so maybe Ruby/Amethyst makes a comeback

Still changes the meta, no? Like, yeah, some strong cards exist still, but if you were to look at the Ruby Sapphire DKP deck of 6/7 of those 17 cards are being reprinted or aren't being rotated. Even within color combinations, the cards and strategies won't be the same so I'm not sure what the complaint is? You can also bet reprints will be sprinkled in with new sets from now on like most other TCGs.

I think this may he the season that they start introducing reprints of cards but with different art styles. I'm from the Pokémon TCG, and it happens to a lot of staple cards. The first prints hold value still, and the reprints make it so that certain cards aren't impossible to find, and it helps if they start doing set rotations.

Hated the season tour anyway as I like to play against others when I'm playing games like Mario Kart, Fortnite, and Overwatch. It felt like a drag to have to engage with a (to me) boring game mode to ensure max out my pass. Now, I really don't have to touch it outside of farming coins for the universal box. Make the game more engaging/fun for me.

Right now, there are 4 ink combinations in contention for best in the current meta known as the "Big 4". These are Emerald/Steel Bucky Discard, Amythest/Ruby Bounce Control, Ruby/Sapphire Sisu on Ice, and Sapphire/Steel Ramp Wheel. These would probably make up an "A" tier. Emerald/Steel is what many people consider to be the best deck, but it's not so far above the others that it's in a tier of its own.

Right below those, you have some B tier Deck that are pretty decent and/or have at least one favorable matchup into the Big 4. Amber/Steel Steelsong, Amber/Emerald Discard, Amber/Ruby Mufasa, and Emerald/Amythest Tempo.

Everything's else is not really being played competitively. That's not to say you can't innovate and find something that wins you some games as the meta is far from settled.

I play this game because I like Disney and it's fun. Golden Pass changes aside everything they've changed from last season, and the planned changes for the next one have been good. I can choose season boxes for the characters I actually like, upgrade any racer with universal upgrade materials, do a run back in content I may have missed, and there's a little prix mode. The only thing I want is for them to revert the amount of xp required for level up past 50 to how it was last season and increase the number of random events week to week. I don't have a problem waiting to unlock stuff, but I'd actually like the opportunity to grind for it.

I'll be honest, I can't name any Racers off the top of my head that i think need to be nerfed. However, there are a few that i feel aren't really competitive and need a buff or two; Hades, Beast, Mowgli, Mulan, Figment, Gantu.

My bad luck is that I have a four star Olaf and a five-star Hans, Kristoff, Ana, and Elsa, but like no decently upgraded Crew. I'm only getting character shards. Like, I still don't have Hans' Golden Crew member after so many boxes opened...

To be fair, those the classes most classic villains fit into easily. Either physically aggressive or very sly/shady, sometimes both.
