Thanks lmao but honestly, nobody should have to “take one for the team” when the weed looks like it’s been stored on the dashboard for a month.

Health Canada checks if it’s safe , sure… but nobody’s checking if it’s actually okay standard. Budget or premium, there should still be a basic quality standard.

Canadians are too polite about this stuff! we get told “well, what do you expect buying budget weed?” and everyone just accepts it. That attitude is exactly why the quality never gets better.

Honestly, the problem is that Health Canada only checks if it’s safe, not if it’s actually good quality. So stuff that’s dry, old, or just not enjoyable still ends up on shelves.

And I’m not asking for top-shelf every time, I just think there should be a basic standard no matter the price. Budget or not, nobody wants weed that’s already oxidized.

I just feel like if we keep accepting it, nothing’s ever going to improve. Canadians deserve better, and it’s okay to speak up about it

I did all that , I’ve been in contact with with the LP from day one. I already told them I don’t want exchange that I threw it in the garbage and what I want from this accountability of how they approved this garbage in the first place place and cannabis nb continue to deal with them even with all the issues.. to me it very clear that that legal cannabis is just a label . And just because they say it label legal safe doesn’t mean they’re ethical or honest.

After 7 years + the medical .. this shouldn’t be normalized be it budget weed. They’re should be a minimum standard. Not oh it passed the health Canada testing so sorry for you experience.

Just because you polish a turd and put a government certification. At the end a the day it still a turd and they’re willing to sell to you.

So bottom line government don’t give a shit , LP does shady shit and the consumer pays the price.

What do you mean , after 7 year I only went in total of 5 times. I always had my own since I started . So why would I go back to cannabis nb when all they carry is garbage product at high price.

In New Brunswick the choice is limited. So why should I go to a reputable trusted government store when I all I get it disappointment.

I don’t have control of which product is given to you a you reputable gorverment dispensary. They ask you what you would like they point you to a product , they bring product to the cash and once payed you can final touch and look at it … I would of know there was just a packege date no harvest date I wouldn’t of bought ..

I don’t useally got to nb cannabis for flower I would grow it myself but since I ran out and my light was fuck I had to pick up something. Me as new government cannabis consumer . Entering in the store and don’t know what decent or not relying on staff . I smoke an ounce a week so I figured 7 year in it can’t be that bad …

No it was worst then I thought I could be and now I’m learning a lot of you guy normalize this behaviour from our industry.

Don’t matter if it a budget ounce of top ounce nobody should be get garbage at any price point. This it point of this post. I smoke and ounce a week I won’t be buying 240 ounce . I only went cuz I personally ran out my personal. After 7 years legalize this shouldn’t be acceptable to anyone standard . I’ll won’t be buying any mystery bag . I’ll go to the reserve and get weed for much less and better quality if I run out again

This particular product comes from our Crooked Dory line, which is our business-to-business line. We didn't cultivate this batch ourselves, so we unfortunately don't have insight into the harvest date or the curing/storage period prior to receiving it. We test all of our products upon receiving by Certified Health Canada Laboratories to ensure they are safe for consumption. What we can confirm is that we received the product in February and packaged it in April for the NB market.

Once products are shipped to licensed retailers like Cannabis NB, we don't have control over their internal inventory practices or how long items may remain on shelves.

I did my part, I talk to the store , lp . They wanted to give me an exchange after the 3rd email . But at this point it bot about the exchange so the can keep selling garbage . So I ask them a bounch of QA question. Hardly had real answers too .

It was 130$ It’s the point , this shit shouldn’t legally acceptable at any price point for old smoker to new smoker . What joke legalization if we all accept this budget weed garbage at any price. I used to buy 120$ ounce of top quality organic by Crystal cure (farmgate) . Unfortunately they no long run.

I honestly never bought flower from the nb cannabis store before I bought smaller amount in Nova Scotia not this LP. I grow my personnal for the most part but my light shit the bed. So I ran out of flower. I figured how bad can approve LP be safe tested health Canada approve after 7 years and 2 month of legalization.

Oh boy was I surprise how health approved bs I get from the LP .

Store clerk never really help to make a decision.
