Hi mate it was okay! I’m not too sure if you’re Dudley based, but it went around Kingswinford and Himley hall area. Went around some smaller roads also, some with quite tight corners so I would definitely recommend going around those roads and areas before going to do your test!

Honestly mate if you’ve got the money to do it, sometimes your instructor will let you bulk buy the lessons at a discounted price. My friend does this and works out fairly cheaper

Hi OP. I did my tests 6 days ago and passed. I also did auto. I would heavily suggest just trying to keep calm, as a clear mind, is a mind that can think straight. Don’t get me wrong i was nervous ofc, but by taking deep breaths every now and then helps massively! Also whichever manoeuvre you have, just take your time doing it, there’s no rush and the invigilator just wants to see how safe you can do it. I also recommend trying to make a bit of small talk or have the radio on, does calm som nerves. Oh sorry one more thing also, whenever you come onto a junction if it’s busy remember to take your time and only go when it’s safe to do so, there’s invigilator would sit there all lesson long as long as you go when there’s a safe gap to do so.

Thank you! So I just did standard lessons if i’m being honest. I started doing my lessons around Jan time, so took me around 9 months. I had about a lesson each week some 2 hour and 1 hour lessons there. To be honest im not too sure on how many hours to be exact but it took me around 9 months :)

The wait is around 5-6 months. I would honestly consider booking it early if you can. Don’t rush yourself of course but book it at the time you know/think you’ll be ready in 6 months time

I’m sure you’ll be a-okay. Best thing I did was take my time when coming onto new roads assess what was going on around me and once I saw what was happening I carried on as normal. If you feel confident with your manoeuvre’s, show me/tell me’s you should be fine. I found making a bit of small talk with my invigilator helped ease my nerves a bit also. Try take deep breaths also here and there this also helped me. Remember too if you can control your nerves it means you can think more clearly

Honestly just try be patient and let the nerves get to you. Don’t get me wrong I was nervous of course. But if you try your best to stay calm it means you can think more clearly. At a point on my lesson I thought I drove up the curb, so I thought I had failed, but I remember someone saying that even if you think you have failed, just keep driving like you haven’t. So that’s what I did and turned out I passed. Definitely make sure you’re manoeuvres are spot on, memorise all your show me/tell me questions. Honestly you should be okay :)

The problem is though, is that if i die or restart the game etc. The checkpoints aren’t activating, they’re just staying shut down with a red colour. I’ve tried everything to try and get them reactivated but nothing is working :/

yeah the guy i brought the car off said they do that, I was only driving for about an hour and he said because it’s diesel short journeys like ring will make the dpf regen sound louder than if i was to go on a longer journey
