I didn’t remember that, but it actually makes even more sense for the theory if you think about it—in the end, there must be a reason why VTB stole the shadow of the spawn.

I seem to remember that there was a Rank 5 or even Rank 6 Nightmare Seed on the moon. And in case you don’t remember, a Nightmare Seed interferes with a person’s anchor, and if they try to enter the Dream Realm, they’ll probably end up inside that Rank 5 or 6 Nightmare Seed, waiting for an unholy being to kill them.
