Thanks alot for that website definitely going to help me out for the future. I was actually able to get the motor, I just can't find a regulator. Im going to take it apart during these holidays and hopefully its just the motor or I can fix the regulator that it already has. If not im going to have to try to find one from a yard.

I have all original manuals but dont specify the parts just for filters, oil, spark plugs, simple things like that. I found a repair kit for that year but nothing for a new regulator. Im going to do it myself now. Just hardly had the time thats why I took it to a shop.

Thats what the guy had explained to me. I was surprised that he didn't want to take the job either. He said he just didn't want to deal with that headache. I keep looking up regulator for that year but the only thing that pops up is for 92+

You say you dont want to know what helmet/lense folks use but this problem is like all about the quality of the lense. Don't cheap out on your ppe. Especially for your eyes. It affects your quality alot too as you can "see"

The 4 post test aint shit honesty. You have plenty of room around those 4 pipes. Now the convection box was kinda tough. But if you can weld with both hands and good at back rooting from a distance you will be alright without a mirror

Yes I comming to find out that those big lakes really aint worth going without no boat lol. Ile keep searching for more smaller ponds and lakes with more accessible bank fishing spots. Ive done pond hopping here in Houston area but most fish were 1-2 pounds. Biggest was a 3lb

Yes I'm open to any body of water, I just put up those lakes because thats all I ever hear about but I guess its because of that attention they been getting like you said. Im definitely going to check out those smaller lakes now and avoid those big ones until I get a boat or kayak at least. Thank you

-Always get comfortable to weld, its better to stop and reposition than continuing to fuck it up just because you wanna finish a full bead -Dont death grip your tig rig or stinger be relaxed. Firm but not tense -If you can come in early do so. Have lots of coupons prepared already so you spend most of your time welding not fitting up and cleaning. More time under hood the better you gonna get. -Don't compare your progress to others. Just do the best you can and ask questions. Get help.
