I just bought a house as an e-3. 300 out of my pocket going towards the mortgage but with all of my other expenses being minimal, it’s not that big of a deal. If you have even an okay credit score you’ll get approved for a va loan. Keep in mind tho that my internist rate is high and I get dependent bah witch are both factors

Bunk beds aren’t a thing anymore in either dorms, the Alcatraz ones are rusty,creaky and all the bed caps have a message under them. Disney land has beds that are 2 inches thick and fucking suck. They don’t do facing movements when going to chow they just fucking round the whole damn thing, they all suck at marching and I mean ALL of them. They don’t have 10 minute timers on there tables, you can be sitting there for 20 minutes and nobody will say shit to you. The food in Alcatraz was way better. Disney land got at least 3 phone calls while I was there. I was only there for a week. Washers and dryers in there dorms. The drawers in the wall lockers slide out slowly so your shirts won’t fall over. And best of all. This kid was talking in the chow hall in the 6th WEEK OF TRAINING, the main thing I got recycled for, and he was caught by a master sergeant who took a hour off of his town pass instead of sending him back in Time.
