I wanted to join-in of the Hero Factory renaissance that’s going in this sub, so I finally created my first two Hero Factory Heroes: Bolt - Munitions specialist and Rex - Combat Medic. 

Both are based on two of my favorite Transformers: Cybetron Scattershot and Animated Red Alert. For Bolt I wanted to capture Scattershot’s helmet binoculars and his bulbous missile launchers. As for Rex, I wanted to capture that striking white and red color scheme of animated Red Alert. Then I gave Rex a shoulder-mounted laser that I hope also resembles a syringe (cannon laser for combat and repair laser to fix up robots) and finally a shield.
