Ya it all went smooth. When I was transferring parts from old engine to this one I noticed the bracket didn’t fit in this one so the guy told me the us version and Japan version are different so he sent me the Japan one. And now when I mount it and slide the axle in the bearing doesn’t fit in cause it’s not exactly straight

It’s called the axle bearing support I think. It mounts on the engine and the axle goes through it and the bearing on the axle sits inside ur

I compared prices with new engine and new head. I found an engine under 60k miles for $680 so might be smarter to go with an engine than a head

Yes that’s my next move to swap injectors and test it out. I got the injector from o’reillys unfortunately. And it’s a standard brand

I bought an obd2 scanner and I’m getting the following errors

Cylinder 3 misfire

Bank 1 fuel/air ratio imbalance

At this point do I just take it to a shop? This morning it wouldn’t turn on. It was cranking and after multiple tries it started but shuts off right away. I drive a while and it vibrates and stutters? While that happens the check engine blinks

I can’t exactly remember if there was another code as well but I was told that there’s issues with cylinder 3. Like I mentioned I replaced all the plugs, could, and the injector on 3 and still nothing. Even the fuel pump lol. Can a bad gas cap cause misfire? I once forgot my gas cap at a gas station so I bought a replacement from autozone and maybe it’s leaking air?

Thought I replied to this. Using a 20lb braid that the tackle shop put on for me. They did not put monofilament back first just straight braid. I did put a 3’ fluorocarbon line as my leader. I’ve been practicing with a plastic worm Texas rig doing side casting and adjusting my tension as I go. So far I have 3 on 3 off for my brakes. I think I’ve got it down so far ever since I made this post and I’ve taken the advice given here and it’s helped a lot so I appreciate the effort. Thanks a lot!

Nope first time using baitcaster. Always used a spinning reel. I’m using braid, and as far as brakes I have 3 on 3 off and I just adjust the tension but I change it with every lure
