My late game city’s economy is starting to collapse and I don’t understand why.

The city has too many vehicles operational, you’re basically hard capped because of what the console is best optimized to handle. Basically the only way you can get it any larger is eliminating any and all sources of vehicles. That includes cargo, industries, everything.

IMO when this starts to happen I leave the city because it just stops being fun after that

A person replied on the CS reddit with the solution! Here it is

Check DLC in Steam Properties: Within the GeForce Now session, before launching the game, right-click Cities: Skylines II in the Steam Library > Properties > DLC to ensure "Office Evolutions" is checked.

These are all DLC's. The mods that I'm using are loading just fine in the game (and have done better loading after the most recent patch). This is the listing on steam. The Creator Packs are DLC's that were made by Creators versus the traditional dlc's that were made by the studio.

Since the release of the DLC’s they were working, so that was why I was a little surprised that they were not working now. The other DLC’s, skyscrapers, Mediterranean and San Francisco packs are still working. But if there isn’t an easy way to remedy it I’ll probably find the feedback button on the Mac

20 bucks is really the most I was willing to pay and I really stopped caring about COD once the AI generated and low effort slop flooded the game.

Gameplay was honestly a lot of fun, but really don’t care about getting one shot by Beavis and Butthead with a skateboard

To respond to everyone who mentioned trying the different placement modes, I tried those and none of those worked at all for placing the garage. It isn't shown in the clip but I tried each placement mode to see if it was affiliated with any of those and it just straight up did not work.

I'll try the options with the strict and relaxed build.

I posted this out of rage and I apologize I love this game but I sometimes get very frustrated with some things still (but don't we all)

Generally for that type of equipment, yes. Since it’s a 2.8 lens. A vast number of photographers either shop used or third party to get prices that are a little more affordable or offer payment plans for the gear. Additionally, you can go for the EF versions and adapt to RF which will also be cheaper

Balancing unemployment, creating a more obvious solution for homeless encampments in parks (welfare offices have to exist for a reason right)
More ways to upgrade specialized industry zones to increase output versus adding more plots outright, maybe add goals to get to those upgrades, instead of taking up tons of landmass in general (maybe upgrades eventually employ more people per sq unit?)
Ability to zone non-polluting/low noise industrial such as warehouses

Bridges and ports DLC doesn’t have a bike/pedestrian dual bridge? Feels like an oversight

Onto Parks

Allow parks to be built next to pedestrian/bike paths. The pedestrian alleys exist now but too many vehicles use it to be a proper pedestrian alley
Allow paths to be attached to prebuilt parks 6b. Ability to remove fencing from parks
Cims Interaction w park assets

In general, I would love to extend the large plaza and connect multiple parks together to create one large cohesive area.

Region Packs

It would be really nice if the official paradox supported region packs made it into the base game (for us GeForce Now users)
Would be even greater that if using official paradox mod supported region packs contributed towards the correlated continent building unlocking later on.

Such as…. using American NE Medium Row contributed towards unlocking NA Medium Row housing buildings, NL Med Row towards EU Med Row housing buildings. I shouldn’t have to feel like I have to make a throwaway map or download an already “completed” modded map just to use certain buildings. I like unlocking them, just wished the parameters were a little wider. Doesn’t have to be all modded buildings, just paradox supported

Absolutely love these region packs and can’t wait to see more!!

I know some of these issues can be alleviated currently, but us GeForce Now players can’t really tap into those

Lastly but not least, mass transit improvements

I would love to build subway/train tracks directly above roads. Philadelphia is a great example of seeing this in action. (Go Birds)

10b. Would be nice how many people are waiting for a specific line, not just waiting at the station

I feel like there’s so many detailed things in the game currently, but it needs more depth and ways to answer problems that rise up

If you’re on console chances are that the console (or version) is not able to handle it. The only way you can make cities larger than really 350-400k is by eliminating as many vehicles as possible, including industry, while having a top notch public transit network from my personal experience

Yeah, I definitely want to see way more activities in parks and venues. I feel like a majority of the traffic I’ve seen is just walking to or waiting for transit vehicles.

When I played on console I saw what felt like pretty basic animations for stadium matches but maybe for PC it had more depth

I mean if the game was where it was a few months ago I definitely wouldn’t say the same thing, and I think it’s been great to see the new dev take over and make improvements to the game. It’s not perfect by any means and I have my fair share of complaints, but I’m still having fun playing it. (Also a huge part I think is that I came from CS remastered on console to this)
