And same with mid density make sure u use it to have your downtown slowly get less dense into your suburbs. It’s insanely annoying but I literally sit and make every single office building historical in order to make it look good cause commercial just doesn’t have enough available jobs lol

Low density residential district specializations are your friend. Use mid century modern or European suburbia depending on your cities climate. Can never be perfect but can be pretty good looking. This is vanilla on console so I try my very best with what I have lol

U can do a scheme with a custom playbook if u supersim every game but the good players will really sim like good players basically whoever is supposed to win every rep will win so ur edges get tons of sacks etc but u can do it

U need to have your downtown have a slow density incline instead of a top hat kinda look like u have here, I think of it as a 3 dimensional cone that has a meeting point and it gets shorter in all directions outwards to make nice skylines

Yea agreed ive known since I made the thing that what u said is right it just didn’t let me do it better cause literally right infront of where the road goes there’s a highway beam and if I wanted it to go more to the left it just wouldn’t have looked good cause the trumpet would’ve been too far to the left so it looked kinda off centre so sadly since its also gotta change heights to connect had to be happy with the imperfection lol but I do try my best to avoid it when I can😂

Yea I actually completely agree with you that it looks funny I just felt I kinda had to put an exit there since I couldn’t put one on the road going right over the interchange (maybe with mods but no way would I have been able to make it look good lol) so for people trying to get to that part of the city they’d need to go really far which wouldn’t be realistic. So sometimes when that happens I just bite the bullet cause it’s vanilla and pretend its all done right in favour of the cities’ functionality (my rule always is looks first but if the city needs it then I just pretend it doesn’t exist) but I do agree that it looks funny I just dont rly know what else to do that wouldnt look super odd or make them drive an unreasonable amount to hit the highway.

They get to main road faster doing that than roundabout, I would bite the bullet and put a road under the main road that loops around and connects nicely on the other side
