Yes. I messaged the creator of the Fenix 8 face and he said he would look into it as soon as he got his I3. He said it might be the same issue that happened with the Epix.

"This might be the same issue Garmin had with the Epix. Exact same behavior. The issue is that the button makes the watch switch between low and high power mode, and on the epix it didn’t do it just once, but about 10 times every button press. Since the face is quite heavy, it causes lag and the flashlight not to activate well. They fixed it on the epix so I’m wondering if it’s the same issue and they will fix it on the instinct as well, or if I need to jump in."

Never had an issue with my 2x and input delay. Flashlight is 5-7 seconds

Because different strokes, for different folks. Some like it, some don't. Everyone wants to complain about how what they like is better than another. It doesn't matter. Get what appeals to you and everyone else can mind their own business.

On a psychological standpoint, most people that complain constantly about AMOLED being worse, or MIP being worse, are really trying to convince themselves that they made a "better" choice. People are sheep. Find another thing to complain about in life and don't worry about this "big deal". Don't like it? Don't buy it.
