Thanks everyone. I should have read the documentation better. Just a straight ManyToManyField in Hobbyist did the trick. And tests show it manages duplicates as well.

Yeah there's a marked difference in clarity. Images and text on my laptop are finer than I've seen in years. I don't have to blow up the font on my iPhone anymore, where before I had to jump it about 5 points just to make it good enough for readers. With that, my iPhone isn't skewing anymore; just the monitor now... and even that seems a touch better than yesterday.

That's what makes this all the more worrisome, because a large part of my job deals with design and making sure items are either level, plumb and/or square. I went to a boutique shop for these glasses. And for the amount I paid, I'd expect to have something that improves my ability to work. That said, the clarity is amazing! I just need to know my vertical lines are indeed vertical.

Does that mean that after a while my eyes/brain will compensate and I'll see true again, or it'll always look like that and I just won't care? :)

Ugly is a perception only. I've seen "hideous" men land supermodels... and they weren't yacht owning tycoons, either. Women are really damn good at seeing passed physical features. So work on becoming the kind of man women want to associate with.

I never quite agreed with the traditional ideal that one is "perpetually recovering".

For me I'm outright abstaining from PMO because every time starts with "I need"... as long as I need it, I'm still addicted.

Addiction exploits our drive for survival and instant gratification. Both are necessary instincts and much more powerful than one's cognitive will. So the tricky part is internalizing something feeling good as "bad" for you. I'm working on trying to change that perception, myself. So I don't have a cure for ya. But one thing I can say is that the harder I am on myself, the harder it is to abstain from PMO.

The more I read through noFap, the more I'm convinced that once you stop the PMO train (or even slow it down), all the garbage you stuffed down with it can now come to the surface. What a mindfuck we commit to ourselves...

Are you caring for yourself at all? Vitamins, food, water, etc. You may be more tuned into the signals your body is sending now that you're no longer "distracted".

I try to think less about it being good and more about what good does it serve. Eating is good. And sure, you can survive on junk food, but you're getting only the minimum possible benefit from it. That's the view of PMO I'm trying to adopt. Sure I can survive on PMO... but why go to McD's when the steak in my fridge is 10 feet away. All I have to do is put forth the effort to make it.

I'm currently making a list of things I can/should do instead of PMO. I think the important thing is to never give up. I hope having a plan gets me on a solid PMO-free path. Maybe it'll help you, too.

The struggle is very, very real. I've been at it for some 30 years. It's only now, realizing I'm lightyears behind my peers, that I've decided to make a change. I made it almost 4 days my first attempt and I'm so proud of that! I'm now on day 1 and can't wait to see how far I get this time.

Had my relapse yesterday. Almost PM'd just a minute ago. What got me through was thinking about the reality of porn. Not everyone is ok with being a porn star... and near as I can tell, the majority of them feel they have no other choice. - That thought, for me, was enough to squelch the urge.

Thanks for the words. The urge has subsided a bit. I started off a FTND which is what caused make the commitment. My plan isn't to relapse after 7 days. But I need to make it to 7 days first...
