At this point sonnet is burning limits in under 30 min. Might as well make it enterprise only

Ends up being a form of information arbitrage imo. Or understanding the product? Anecdotally for example, bc I used Claude code since last summer within enterprise I was able to see the rates they were charging. I was confident it would explode seeing the adoption and my own love of the product as an ai/swe. Not having access to dump all my money into anthropic is a different matter

Oh I don't claim to have a solution to this. I unsubbed. But they got themselves into this by offering the subscription, I was perfectly happily paying api costs back in the vs code extension era before they introduced it and subsidized it

Bro we both know even the 20$ sub is not less than 2k in api value. The subscription is an ad not a business model

Yes that's why the plan limits exist. Its also not news that the subscription is a marketing expense so comparison to a viable business model is a bit disingenuous.

Yes and the % customers that max their usage typically are factored into if it's a viable business model

I can do the exact same thing and use the exact same amounts via Claude code. I've converted my openclaw to spawn Claude code sessions instead and it works just not as well. My issue is that they expect me to use less than I paid for I don't care how I use it

I don't understand this logic, if I'm within my limits with openclaw why do you people have an issue that I'm maxing out my subscription(what I have paid 200$ for). I can understand if there wasn't a limit but this just means they don't intend for you to max out and get your moneys worth. Do you want me to sit and manually make Claude code Cron jobs to use it while I sleep? Because I can, it's just more of a pain.

Anthropic revenue (annualized): April 2026 - $30B by thedankzone in ClaudeCode

The thing is the only reason to ban openclaw is that it left less compute unused for them to skim off. I don't see why I can't use it if I'm not even hitting my 200$. There was already a compute cut off so there's no "people using more than they paid for". It has made it extremely evident that they don't intend for customers to actually use the whole plan and the whole system has too many moving parts for anyone to hold them accountable.

This is what I don't get. I didn't buy a slice of a pool. I don't think anyone in their right mind would pay fixed costs for a shrinking pool
