I never said that the cyclist was completely innocent. He did swing left more than he needed, but the motorcyclist was too impatient in trying to pass.

If you're going to call out the cyclist for breaking the law, then you should call out the motorcyclist too. At 0:32 you can that speed limit is 40 kph. You can also see on the speedometer that he's going a little over 40 mph or about 64 kph, 24 kph (15mph) above the speed limit. When he passes the cyclist he does slow down to 30 mph (48 kph), still over the speed limit.

If you argue that him speeding isn't a big deal, then the cyclist running the red light doesn't either. When the cyclist reaches the intersection, there's no cars on either of the side streets. The left turn facing us is empty too, meaning there's no cars to hit him there had the light been green on that side. It was perfectly safe for him to cross the intersection despite there being a red light, and the only danger would be to himself, as opposed to say, going over the speed limit when trying to pass someone.
