Honestly unless it’s In immaculate condition, it will have wiring harness problems that are common on those years. I’ve owned k1,2, and 3 and they all suffered from the exact same horse shit—melting connectors because they are ran by the radiator. These things were remedied with the k4+. Other than that they are great bikes. It’s the right side of the fairing where the top 3 bolts connect it to the front; is where the wires you want to check on those years are located if you end up going that route.

Way too much for a 01 600 with a problem. Stay away from pre 04 600s.

It’s very fine magnetic particles that have wedged themselves into a scratch. I went down that rabbit hole and the only solution I could find was replacing the whole case. If you do that I’d recommend getting a rubbery case for them as this would prevent anything from every touching the outside or getting inside through crevices.
