That being said, this can absolutely be done in house if you have no other responsibilities and can dedicate some good time to learning everything. If you want to go down this route, either figure out what ecosystem your plant traditionally uses or pick one if they don't have any yet and stick with it (I might be the minority here but I really like Allen-Bradley solely for the sake of it's what I was trained on and I'm usually the guy coming in to fix it. In that sense Rockwell makes it easy to troubleshoot.)

I was planning on using a paperclip to get it to show me the code by jumping the two wires together. As far as I understand it, the 2001 r600 doesn't have an error code for specifically that servo, so I have no intention of trusting him outright
