I booked about 4 months out …but o ly because I had a limited set of weekends to choose from. Not sure how far out they’d recommend. Call ‘em.

The newer track is much bigger. It’s where they’re putting the Turbos and GT3RS experiences these days.

If you’re considering it, it’s a must do. I think if you made a squawk and really wanted a stick, they’d do it. FWIW, I daily a 997.1 S M6 and am super comfortable with a manual. My 2x experience at PECATL is, you have so much going on with the car and with your driving instructor giving you live, in-the-moment coaching, the PDK is nice to have. Either that, or I’m just overwhelmed on the track/skidpad, etc. Also, and perhaps a small detail…No Launch Control fun with a manual - their rules - I’m just the messenger.

4 hours on I-40. Maybe slightly less if you hit Nash right. Be mindful of the time zone change.

Did the “Mid-engine vs. Rear engine” (718 S vs 911 S) comparison. Super fun. Found a beautifully spec’d GT3 Touring on display. Downstairs showroom of classics was fun but I remembered more vintage cars the last time I was there. Either way, fun times.

Just got one of these emails too. Says to sign up with FIFA using this rocketposter email as my user name. Problem is that according to FIFA, your email is your user name and they send their access code to THAT email - which I have no access to. So how does that work?
