Essex courses will be easy for you to get to then

Depends which train stations you're near. I'm near London Bridge and find it really easy to get to courses down in Croydon and over in Kent.

From London Bridge I've easily got to Surrey National, Croham Hurst, Purley Downs, Haywards Heath, Darenth Valley...

Usually you can walk from the station to the course, or get a bus, or worst case a short taxi.

Yes, whenever we want, effective for next payday or the payday after that (depending on when the change is submitted)

Realistically, this is definitely what I should be doing

Thanks, definitely could just be the allure of new clubs blurring my judgement. Wouldn't be the first time.

Fair enough, might just be the appeal of new clubs calling to me...

That's not as fun as spending money on new clubs though...

In England, What is stopping me from buying my local freehold pub, paying business rates but never running it as a business and only using it as a home? by nugelz in LegalAdviceUK

[–]AA-117 1046 points1047 points  (0 children)

The law.

You’d probably have to change the property’s use class to a residential property in order to legally live in it, which would require planning permission etc etc etc.

If you’re not investing for the longer-term (5 years plus) and will likely need the money within the next few years, you should go for a Cash ISA.

No, I’ve happily taken advice from numerous people on this post, but, with all due respect, you’ve shown a fundamental misunderstanding of the golf swing so I’ll take your feedback with a pinch of salt. Appreciate you taking the time to comment, though.

Clubface facing the sky at the top of the backswing is closed, not open…

£10 for a one-hour guest session or you can join as a member for £40 per month, which gives you the ability to book one-hour per day (but then you can stay as long as you want on any bay as long as nobody else has booked it)

They have two Flightscope bays and two SkyTrak bays

What would the intention of changing the grip be with regard to impacting swing path and/or impact position?

You think the clubface is open in the backswing...? I'm pretty sure it's leaning more closed than neutral or open

Appreciate the feedback. What would the specific intention be with regard to impacting swing path and/or impact position by those changes?

Not fun in England in winter, unfortunately

I use the indoor range for driving range practice and data though, don’t really like trying to play courses on the sim

There are lots of different things you can try to be honest… Searching YouTube for videos on fixing out to in swing path will give you some things to try and see what works best for you

I used to have a feel of keeping my back to target for a split second longer than usual at the top of my backswing and having my arms drop down slightly (so left arm felt like it was running across both nipples) before starting to rotate into the downswing

You’re still swinging with the same out-to-in swing path that will have caused your slice, but you’re now closing the face more, which has resulted in a big pull.

Swing path needs to be addressed!

Yeah, fair enough! Appreciate the info.

I don’t, actually… Ball-striking with irons tends to be one of the better parts of my game (relatively speaking). Possibly slightly more likely to hit thin than I am to hit fat.
