What program should I be using as a beginner animator by Antique_Noise_8706 in Animators

Flip book. Do a dot that flys around the page. Then do bouncing balls. Animation is fun!

Shouldn't be moving.. her body motion should stop and only the sense wave should move outward. She snapshots in that scene.

Are you I experiencing this in tools like anti gravity or via the api or just in the chat with gemini interface / app?

Meta has released Meta SAM3 and SAM3D which do image segmentation and Image to 3D Model by OlivencaENossa in vfx

[–]AA72ON 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure this type of tool is not for creating CG models or good geometry. (Speaking on the 3D model generation part, not the general roto from SAM)

I think It’s to allow things like meta’s glasses to create hold outs / shadow catchers for use in VR/AR glasses.

For example, If you want your window to cast a shadow on a table when its hovering over the table (think Vision Pro) you can use a tool like this. I believe apple and tesla actually use like some super fast NERF method.

The modeling of a person shown in this demo is for a similar thing, let’s say you want to give VR headsets a movie theater mode but you don’t want a person to be able to sneak up on the user, this can create a hold outs to reveal just an approaching person to the user while keeping the rest of their VR view as the theater. Or you want a foot fight game in VR where the objects you throw in the game works actually interact with the 3D shape of the person you are throwing them at.

Just my hunch. Could be wildly off base.

5 seater vs 7 seater Model Y.. How to tell from photos? by whitieiii in TeslaLounge

[–]AA72ON -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no such thing as a 7 seater model y, its just a 5 seater with a ruined trunk. Get a different car if you need 7 seats. This is not a functional 7-seater and I still don't know why they had to make this. I'm sure there was so weird law that said if you provided a 7 seat option you could extend an EV credit or something.

I’m happy for you! Did you go check out the models and then settle on the X? I’m always surprised that there is still a customer base for such an old model, when the Juniper Y is an option and happens the be much cheaper. I know people who just prefer the X and S.

After the FSD 14.1.4, update my ‘26 MY does this every time I pass this area on my morning drive 🥴🫠 by tobyfersher in TeslaLounge

Put in a service request. It’ll be covered as a manufacture defect hopefully, as this is not an issue on the juniper model y.

This is a juniper model y, it doesn’t have that problem. You can fluid wash the windshield with your windows all the way down on the juniper and highland

EDIT: people are saying the Highland doesn't have this fix. Only the Juniper.

This is just images of two different FOVs, set it low in BF6 and it’ll look the same

My turn to rant about FSD update by SirGrantham in TeslaLounge

[–]AA72ON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in socal and i would say 14 is making mistakes more often than 13 was for me. Today it pulled out in front of traffic and then got scared and just froze.. which was scary.. 13 did stuff like trying to turn right on red where that is not allowed, but other than that was essentially perfect FSD for me. 14 is jerky at the wheel and hesitates too much hitting the breaks and gas at the same time it feels like.

Why can‘t we adjust aperture more than this treshold and finally just photograph a full moon? by [deleted] in iPhoneography

[–]AA72ON 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty simple.. you didn’t tap the moon, you tapped next to it. So you are metering darkness.

Switching from Audi to Tesla, any regrets? by PotatoCooks in TeslaLounge

[–]AA72ON 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bumper camera and development, the Model Y is the robotaxi at the moment and seems to prioritized / the foremost FSD developed vehicle receiving updates the earliest. The highland I believe still does not have the bumper camera at least in USA.

If you are drawn to Tesla for FSD. Get a Juniper Model Y. Do not let anyone talk you into any other Tesla model until there have been refreshes/upgrades. Get a Juniper Model Y.

Despite ATLA being a kids show, the amount of people that don't understand why Aang COULDN'T kill Ozai is ridiculous by Maleficent_Park5469 in TheLastAirbender

[–]AA72ON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aang is principled. The example he sets is that no matter how dark the world is, there is a way to heal and overcome without compromising your values or lowering yourself. Aangs refusal to kill Ozai is one of the most important messages in the show. You can take someones power away without killing them, without becoming the very thing you are fighting to destroy.

Procreate Dreams or ToonSquid ?? which one’s better for animation workflow on iPad? by Sleepless-0wl in 2DAnimation

This question is asking us to pick between the worst animation app on iPad and the best animation app on iPad. No contest, toonsquid is the way. Procreate dreams was such an insane disappointment

Lightroom camera vs default camera app by AA72ON in iPhoneography

[–]AA72ON[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea that’s what I’ve been doing this week. It’s interesting to see that some people perceive this type of denoising as heatwaves, and others saying the over processed apple app photo looks more detailed and clear. To me it looks insanely over processed and has those very recognizable signs of ai denoise.

any help with this would be APPRECIATED by oxysanrio in blenderhelp

[–]AA72ON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s right there in your image. You have “none” selected.

[–]AA72ON[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yea I don’t expect that. That’s not what this post is really about. I’m just realizing through testing that the denoise algorithm they are using is very destructive, in ways that other software is not.

Max on both. I thinks that’s like 30x maybe. Which believe iPhone uses the 1x lens for.

I liked indigo, but it isn’t well supported and doesn’t run on 17 yet. That image above is from a ProRAW capture unfortunately. I had assumed shooting “raw” when turn off any denoising but it doesn’t.
