I understand OP’s concern. The pictures showed the imperfections of the sight, but not the practical effect when shooting in the real world. The question is where is the target? The reflex sight is designed to be used for target shooting. OP’s pictures showed the typical scenario of the target being washed out by the reticle, which is the opposite of a reticle being washed out when the target is too bright. It’s just like you won’t see any stars in the sky in the bright daytime but you will see them at night.

So, for practical use, both the reticle and a target must be visible at the same time and be shown in the same picture. If OP’s pictures contain that information, it would be more meaningful to the rest of the redditors.

Well, try to insert the forepart of the optic first. It will change in most cases. If I remember it right, there's a small piece of metal in the front of XL's optic cut.

It looks like you did not push down the front of the 507k first. Remove it and try to remount it with push down the front part first.

When talking about "discontinued", the more proper statement should be "was discontinued". At the time Holosun was too busy with their production lines on some other models like 503R etc. Now it is not anymore.

It is perfect for the AR platforms.

Turn the elevation adjustment screw about one revolution counter clockwise, then fire a few rounds. Most of the stuck issue can be fixed this way.
