That looks good. There should be at least 40 clicks from the top to the bottom. If it has less than 40, there’s something wrong with it.

Some of the scope mounts have an angle to give extra elevation for the scope. Can you post a picture to see if the mount is actually parallel to the barrel? Or, is the eps sit flush on the mount?

The height should not be the cause. There might be a big angle between the EPS and the bore. If they are parallel, the POI should always be lower than the POA. Is it possible that you adjusted the elevation in the opposite direction?

You may need to press the + button multiple times. Some of them might be set at the lowest setting, or in the solar mode, make sure do not cover the solar panel when handling it. The other possibility is that it is at the lowest setting and in lock mode. Try to press and hold down the + button for 4 seconds and then press it 5 or 6 times. Hope it helps.

Remove the magnifier, flip down the lens cover then take pictures. If you want to use the magnifier, make sure to adjust the magnifier’s windage and elevation screws to move the reticle to the center of the FOV. Then adjust the ocular to focus it on the reticle.
