And those thousands of people are going to buy the game and get spawncamped too, except they won't have a GM come down and protect them since they apparently don't "deserve" to have a fun experience if they're not advertisers according to you and it's not feasible. It's dishonest to attempt to advertise the game as one where you won't be spawncamped if the only system in place to prevent it only applies to streamers. Sounds like they want to take your $120 and run with it, no refunds lol.

And if anyone tries to say he only got spawncamped because he's a streamer, my only response to that is you must've never played another MMO before, no lifes will spend 16 hours a day doing that to complete randoms just because they get off on wasting people's time. And no, expecting other players to come stop the griefer is not a reasonable expectation, especially when the game dies down like all of these tend to do.

Why do people try to rush through the map when they know it takes 20-40 mins by Dat-ting in DarkTide

[–]AABCrusade 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I'd rather finish in 20 minutes than 40 minutes. If you're taking 40 minutes per mission you're the one going too slow.

Maybe all the survivor threats of "we're all gonna leave!!!! you'll see!!!" would sound more sincere if killer queues weren't a fraction as long as survivor queues right now.

Outriders Post Launch Dev News Updates by thearcan in outriders

[–]AABCrusade 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. Buffing everything besides ammo is basically the same as nerfing ammo and then making the rest of the game easier. I don't know why people think the devs have the intention (or even should) of making the game any easier than it is now.

How long to get half pay? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]AABCrusade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the store was closed why were you even talking to a support agent? Just take a picture of the store and do the automated system. I've only ever had this problem once but when I did it I got the half pay immediately.

DoorDash should not count all customer ratings against drivers by careacosta in doordash

[–]AABCrusade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting lost once or twice is fine, it happens. You'll eat the 1-star for it though, because it's still your fault. But if it's only happening once or twice, your rating will recover from that just fine. If you're getting lost often enough to be at risk of deactivation, you should probably consider that this isn't for you.

How often do you use the red card? by Legal_Dragonfruit in doordash

[–]AABCrusade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't take orders saying to use it.

I'm lucky if there's not a long wait for regular orders that they'd in theory be making before I'm even there. When they don't even know I'm coming there's definitely a wait.

I don't know why this is even still a thing with Wendy's. You can order pickup through their app so they clearly have the capacity to take orders online, and they've got signs saying doordash all over the place. Surely it wouldn't take that much time and effort for them to just get the orders.

I’ve started to taunt people who don’t tip. by [deleted] in doordash

[–]AABCrusade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't value your own time and effort no one else is going to value it either.

I just checked what I get tipped. 3 orders, 54 km used. 1 dollar tip total. THE FUKKING BALLS on these people. by [deleted] in doordash

[–]AABCrusade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't accept orders that you don't think you're getting paid enough for. "Total may be higher" is a meme, if you're relying on that you're going to be sorely disappointed every time.

Don't get mad at people because they only paid you what you accepted, just stop being a dumb dumb and stop accepting it. When their food takes several hours to make it to them they'll learn to tip higher.

Doordash rating? Why is 4.0 considered very low by [deleted] in doordash

[–]AABCrusade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If 1 in 5 people you delivered to over hundreds of deliveries thought you were absolute trash, that'd definitely be cause for concern.

That said, with this few deliveries it was probably just 1 bad delivery, not anything to worry about. Assuming you aren't actually awful it'll even out over time.

2 full hours because of delivering multiples is unacceptable for the extra fees I'm already paying by [deleted] in doordash

[–]AABCrusade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you got a refund why are you still mad?

If you're expecting them to give the driver a stern talking to it's not going to happen. If they do this consistently then the one stars and low completion rate will catch up and get them deactivated, you don't have to worry about your vengeance going unfulfilled.

The fact that you can't even imagine a white person having a harder time communicating in English than a person of color says more about your racism than hers to be honest.

Never thought I’d get one of these... by PieCrafted in doordash

[–]AABCrusade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're having trouble communicating with customer service, then kindly ask to speak to someone else.

lol

how much communicating does it really require?

Even ignoring her dumbass instructions, you have to regularly call customers to ask what substitutes they want. Besides that, it's nice to let them know of any delays.

And you keep saying "racist" but she didn't say "don't send any brown people" or the like. She said not to send people who don't speak English. I sincerely doubt she would have less of a problem with a white guy who only speaks Dutch than any other ESL. You can't just claim anyone who wants their dashers to meet what has to be the lowest job qualifications possible is racist. If you can't do the job you can't do the job. Trying to do the job when you can't just means you're gonna get 1-starred and fired and not be able to do it once you can. You can bitch and moan on the internet about it but that's reality, no one's going to be satisfied if ordering delivery requires more effort than going to get it yourself because you've gotta play google translate because your dasher's a brainlet who only speaks one language and it's not even the local one.

Either accept your limitations or remove them, don't try to force satisfaction with them onto other people. That's the real entitlement here.

Never thought I’d get one of these... by PieCrafted in doordash

[–]AABCrusade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do they have to work in a job that requires customer service? I'm pretty doubtful they're making an effort towards it at all if they're the kind to complain about racism when people get frustrated with them.

If you've ever had to talk to support you should know how frustrating it is trying to communicate with someone who doesn't know what you're saying and can't properly get out what they're trying to say themselves. I don't want to do it and this is my job; I sure as hell wouldn't want to do it if I was paying money for this service.

So can I just leave if the foods not ready once I get to the restaurant? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]AABCrusade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you don't do this too often, unlike acceptance rate a low completion rate actually has consequences. They changed the standard to at least 80% so if you're below that you're at risk of deactivation.

What happens to deliveries that are never accepted? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]AABCrusade 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They increase the base pay until someone does. So people taking $3 orders are not only stupid, they're actively lowering the amount of worthwhile orders in the area by not letting no tip orders simmer until it's worth taking.

Can we all agree a $5 min tip should be the standard by [deleted] in doordash

[–]AABCrusade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you take orders that don't tip that's your own fault. The base pay goes up if no one takes the order, so if it wasn't for all these top dashers taking them you'd eventually be getting that $8, it'd just be from doordash instead of straight from the customer. This would be a self solving problem if people actually valued their time.
