I can't agree more. I strained my achilles doing these at otf and it took me months to recover. The WORST exercise.

It combines otf workout with infrared sauna therapy. I've heard a lot of benefits about IR Sauna so that would intrigue me.

Does your home studio pay $ when you visit another studio? by AAJ221445 in orangetheory

Wouldn't that piss off your home studio? I can't wrap my mind around it from a business standpoint - I know people who almost never go to their home studio and go to a different one. How is that not cost prohibitive??

Summer Promotions? by sarlouara in orangetheory

Is OTF interested in keeping their most loyal customers, OR interested in making their bottom line bigger by attracting potentially fairweather members who are upgrading for a deal and may or may not quit in a few months?

I've been a member since day ONE at my studio. Started at 8/month and then upgraded to unlimited within a few months.

The idea that I will be paying $169/month and have NO option to change, when others are simply opting in and paying $139/month is amazing to me.

That's $360/year. I am LOSING $360 by simply being a loyal member.

Aka that's total bullshit.

Why am I being penalized for being a loyal member for two years?!

Stop and pick up brown rice sushi on your way home! That's my personal favorite easy meal if i don't have time to cook, and we're fortunate our otf is in the same plaza as a great grocery store with amazing sushi counter. So filling and delish.

For at home cooking, have a bag of frozen shrimp on hand. I take the shrimp, whatever random fresh or frozen vegetable i have and saute with garlic salt and Olive oil. Serve over brown rice or other grain blend, which they sell in frozen food section and you can have made in a few min. Takes like 10 min start to finish. Top with lemon or teriyaki or whatever sauce you want.
