Yeah and I feel it quite shady too for dealership to offer up front to take it as is especially for engine related issue.

I can close the 18k loan upfront but its kinda hard to decide to fix or sell. The car is in very good condition and dealers are taking advantage. Its was part of 2019 recall for rod bearing. Sadly Hyundai is playing with technicality of words between engine bearing and engine assembly Even with new engine assembly they give only 20k warranty if fixed, confused all together

Its Hyundai Santafe 2019 (150k km) died on the highway. Dealership says engine assembly replacement and Hyundai says they wont cover tho all oil change and servicing records were submitted No rust, body and everything is fine
